Serious about safety. Fun about other stuff.

Alissa is extremely mindful of OSHA's standards for bloodborne pathogens and the Minnesota guidelines for Food Safety when encapsulating your placenta.  She only does in home placenta encapsulations so you are free to watch the process and have no doubts that your placenta is safely handled and properly encapsulated.

Alissa's Process for Placenta Encapsulation Safety

  1. Alissa washes her hands, puts on a face mask and non-latex one-use gloves.
  2. She sanitizes the work area in your home (usually your kitchen) for encapsulation with a bleach solution and UV light.
  3. She brings in sterilized equipment and makes sure everything is working and properly sterilized.
  4. Alissa rewashes her hands and puts fresh, non-latex one-use gloves on.
  5. The placenta is cleaned, prepared and encapsulated.
  6. Alissa cleans up the entire work area with a bleach solution and a UV light.

Alissa believes her process should be transparent and welcomes any questions you have in regards to safety or the encapsulation process.
